WHAT TO BRING...
Summer in New England is one of the most beautiful times of year. Make the most of your Summer Vacation by being prepared! It is important to be aware of weather patterns in the Northeast during the Summer months as daytime temperatures can reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's based on elevation.
It's not uncommon to be hot in the sun as you're enjoying the day, but to see the temperature drop quickly as the sun goes down. Be aware that elevation plays a significant roll in the climate of the Mountians. Temperatures can change over 20 degrees from the base of a mountain to the top, and a calm breeze down low can be a strong wind up high.
Please don't let these factors deter you, in most cases a sweatshirt or light jacket will do the trick. Depending on your style of adventure, the following items may come in handy to keep you comfortable in any conditions on your Summer Vacation.
